Project - Market assessment of strategic biotechnology research projects

Description - Science-Metrix has conducted market assessments for five strategic R&D projects in close collaboration with BRI's managers and researchers. These studies identified the potential scientific, technological and socio-economic impacts of strategic projects. Science-Metrix produced exhaustive inventories and developed a thorough knowledge of the competition’s strengths and weaknesses, of the market potential and of the degree of innovativeness of the research projects in addition to characterizing the commercial and regulatory environments.
These assessments were based on primary and secondary data drawn from surveys and interviews, environmental scans, bibliometrics and technometrics.
