Description - The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) benefited from Science-Metrix' expertise in strategic monitoring and measurement when it had to prepare for a collaborative scientific mission in Poland. Science-Metrix produced a short overview of S&T activities in Poland, including a brief presentation of the Polish scientific system. The report provides fundamental statistics on scientific productivity, scientific impact, levels of collaboration with Canada and Poland’s fields of specialization (scientometrics). The study also identifies the Polish S&T institutions with which Canadian institutions most frequently collaborate.
