Julie Caruso, research analyst, provides support for the research and evaluation of science and technology through her skills in data and literature collection and analysis, research principles and techniques, writing and editing, information systems/resources, and data management. Julie holds a BA in English with a concentration in Writing and Rhetoric from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Library and Information Studies (M.L.I.S.) from McGill University. Before joining Science-Metrix, Julie worked as an independent research writer and editor, aiding students and researchers in researching, organizing, and writing graduate- and post-graduate-level writing as well as literature for publication. Among the projects at Science-Metrix that Julie has been a principal contributor to are an environmental scan on doctoral education in Canada, an overview of international plastics disposal and recycling policies and environmental impacts, and an annual activity report for a Canadian scientific research organization, in addition to fulfilling various research and editorial tasks for numerous projects.
