Research Analyst

T. 514.495.6505 ext. 113  F. 514.495.6523

David Campbell, a research analyst, conducts studies aimed at measuring and evaluating science and technology. David holds a master's degree in biology from Université Laval (UL), and although he conducts studies on a variety of domains, he is mainly specialized on the life sciences. His expertise at Science-Metrix consists in defining scientific fields to be measured with the collaboration of external experts, in producing scientometric and technometric indicators, and in writing reports. In autumn 2006, he attended a course on measuring science and technology at the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at  Leiden University in the Netherlands. He is interested in the development of new indicators and in programming. He is also involved in program evaluation and market studies.
