Éric Archambault, president of Science-Metrix, specializes in the measurement and evaluation of science, technology and innovation (STI). Before founding Science-Metrix, he worked as a consultant for six years for various firms, government agencies and universities, including two years as a senior analyst at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique – Urbanisation, Culture et Société (INRS-UCS). His recent projects have focused on bioproducts and bioprocesses, biotechnology, genomics, transportation and information and communications technology. Éric Archambault holds a PhD in Science and Technology Policy Studies from Science and Technology Policy Research (SPRU) at the University of Sussex, UK. He is a member of the scientific committee (SC) of the Observatoire des sciences et des technologies (OST-CIRST) and is a lecturer in scientometrics for the Science, technologie et société (STS) program at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM).
